From one good photo
A single clear photograph is enough. We work the face you knew — the set of the ears, the look in the eyes — into the stone. Many veterinary offices may be able to help capture a paw or nose print if you ask.
More than stone
It does not have to be slate. A nose print or a paw goes onto a metal tag or a keyring just as well — something to keep on you rather than set on a shelf. Same care, whichever you choose. That dachshund took as many passes as any portrait we cut.
